Delta Homes’ President and founder Jerry Dominic believes God has a plan for everyone’s life and Delta Homes is part of the plan for his. “Looking back I realized I was groomed for a career in custom home building. My father was a general contractor and I was exposed to just about every aspect of construction by the time I was a teenager.”

After earning a mechanical engineering degree from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of South Florida, Jerry developed an impressive career with the largest privately owned company in the United States. He started as an engineer in operations management but quickly gained a reputation for being an expert in project and subcontractor management. He then spent the final years of his career in the corporate world as a plant manager.

Although Jerry enjoyed the challenges that accompanied his role in large business operations, he always felt like God was leading him back to his roots in construction. He decided to move his family back to South Carolina and create a residential home building company that emulates the professionalism he developed in the corporate arena, but more importantly, is founded on the core values he draws from his faith as a Christian: honesty, integrity and relationships.

With three sons, Jerry and his wife Alison now hope to pass along a solid upbringing of a strong work ethic and integrity. “With three boys of his own, he wants to offer them that same opportunity he had. After numerous conversations and fervent prayer we made the decision to start Delta Homes”, stated Alison, manager of Delta Designs, a division of Delta Homes.

Today, Jerry uses his keen sense of detail, construction knowledge and project management experience to help others build their dream home. Delta’s success from inception has merely confirmed to Jerry that he is on the right path.
